The J.G team is 6 strong.
My teachers are great! We are all passionate about the job we do and proud of the progress we see in our children every term.
All teachers are FULLY qualified to at least the A.S.A. Level 2 standard. All are up to date DBS checked and have a valid and up to date Lifesaver Qualification. Communication is vital between us to maintain the high standard we offer. We have termly meetings and always consider the childrens' needs, should they need extra help etc. I am always available to answer any queries for parents.
Jane Gandey: I have been teaching for thirty years now and running my own swim school for 28 years. I am passionate about water safety and teaching children to swim. I believe we do a fantastic job. Over the years I have changed many aspects of our teaching. All of us teach to the same criteria and so, although we all have different techniques, our levels are consistent.
I am very proud of the level of swimmers we produce.
Sam Hinton has been teaching for over fifteen years now. She has two children who both swiam with us. She was a Competition swimmer. She runs a Swim School in a full size 25m pool at the Royal Alexandra and Albert School in Merstham. When our swimmers need to ;move on they quite often go to Sam. She takes some of our Crash Courses plus she runs her own lifesaving and survival courses: Aquasafe Surrey. She is popular with all the children.
Zoe Haddon works on a Monday with our stronger swimmers, enhancing their strokes and introducing them to starts and turns.
In the Autumn term she introduces them to basic lifesaving and personal survival skills. In the summer term they love the extra time they get in each lesson for snorkelling, just in time for holidays!!
